Accessibility block
BlocksNukeBling writes "This block allows users to zooom in on the text and images on your website and thus makes your site more accessible for people with visual impairment, a demo can be viewed at the Bottom Left hand side of the home page at http://www.NukeBling.com

Also there is a buttons version… a demo can be viewed at the Top Left hand side of the home page at http://www.safetymatters.org

Why is accessibility important?

Currently, many businesses are neglecting a large sector of potential customers of their online services - people with disabilities. In the UK alone over 15% of the population has a disability (8.7 million people), representing a combined spending power of £50 billion. Disability increases rapidly with age and it is well known that the world's population is ageing. Few organisations can afford to deliberately miss this market sector. Basically, designing to include disabled and older users means more customers.

If web sites are not accessible to disabled users, this is not only morally unacceptable; it may in some cases also be unlawful. Companies who have web sites need to recognise the needs of disabled customers.

These blocks can both be downloaded from http://www.NukeBling.com. Future developments, we will be adding this script in to the header of another site http://www.shepro.org

Nice to see that people rename and remove copyright link from my Grazegreen theme on the safetymatters.org and shepro.org sites. Looks familiar eh!! http://www.web-forums.co.uk/media/screens/grazegreen.jpg
